Here’s a few places you might commonly miss in your routine cleaning. Check them off your list now and give your home a fresh start for this summer.
Cabinets
Over time, the front and bottom of your cabinets can collect dirt and oil from cooking – especially those near your range. If you have vinyl cabinets, a warm soapy rag will remove most of the grime. Cabinet Cream is a great moisturizer for wooden cabinets!
Stainless Steel Surfaces
Grab a microfiber rag and a spray bottle! Mix 1 part vinegar with 2 parts water for a quick and easy cleaning solution. You might also check with your leasing office for a care manual for the appliances.
Dishwasher
It cleans your dirty plates every day, so show it a little love! Start by removing any bits of food on the bottom. Then, run a cycle with a specialty cleanser made for your dishwasher about once a month.
Refrigerator
I am an expert at this. Once a month, my mother used to make me take out each drawer and deep clean the refrigerator. Use some warm, soapy water and just wipe down the areas that can’t be removed. It does a lot of good for you, give that baby a little sparkle.
Oven
Break off any loose pieces of food baked onto the surface. Add some baking soda and a spritz of white vinegar from a spray bottle. Allow it to bubble and wipe it out with a sponge. Viola!
