Throwing a New Year's Eve Party?

|

The invitations have been sent...now it's time to get ready for your New Year's Eve party! Whether you're going for a formal affair or just want to keep things casual, New Year's Eve can be the most fun event of the holiday season. Here are a few tips for planning your end-of-year bash:

Don't Stress!

The holidays can be a stressful time, but don't let the party planning overwhelm you. Creating a checklist is a great first step to staying organized and on task for a stress-free New Year's Eve party. Make sure your list includes food preparations, beverages, decorations, and party essentials such as plates, cups, napkins, etc. You'll feel accomplished once you start crossing items off your to-do list.

A Bar for the Bubbly

When the clock strikes midnight, be ready to pop open bottles of bubbly! Set up a champagne bar to serve as the centerpiece of your New Year's Eve party. Adorn the table or bar cart with festive gold or silver linens and décor. Display the perfect garnishes and food pairings such as fresh fruits, nuts, cheese, and crackers.

Countdown on the Big Screen

When the ball drops, all eyes will be on the TV, so make sure you have the right spot to display it before the countdown! A sturdy and stylish TV cabinet not only serves as the perfect setting for easy viewing, but provides added storage space for books, magazines or board games.

As the party host, your goal is to make sure guests are comfortable and festive throughout the evening. To keep up the excitement of saying goodbye to 2018 and hello to 2019, plan well and create a checklist ahead of time. With the right planning and preparation, you can focus your time and energy on ringing in the new year with friends and family. Cheers!
