Summer of Skewers

The days are longer, the weather is hot, and spending more time outside is a summertime essential activity. When it comes to summer, the number one food that comes to mind is BBQ! Skewers are a great way to BBQ all of these delicious options in a fast and efficient way, so you can spend more time soaking up the summer sun. First, you’ll want to pick out which skewer type works best for you. There are both wooden and metal options to choose from. The metal skewers will last longer over time and are reusable. The wooden skewers need to be soaked in water so they don’t catch on fire and are usually a one-time use. One thing to note, when skewering your meat, you will want it to be in square bite-size pieces.

There are so many different ways to skewer your favorite meats! The most important thing is starting with a good marinade.
