40th Anniversary Contests

The "Celebrating 40 Years Resident Contest" and "$40 Thursdays’ Giveaway" run from October 1, 2026, at 12:00 AM PST through October 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST 

Contest Description 

Celebrating 40 Years Resident Contest:

• Capture an original photo or short vertical video (TikTok/Reels format) highlighting a favorite space, moment, or memory that makes your Sequoia community special. Include a brief written caption explaining why this moment is meaningful to you.
• Post or DM:
• Public Accounts: Post your entry on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, tagging @ElevateToSequoia.
• Private Accounts: Send your photo/video and caption directly to @ElevateToSequoia via Direct Message (DM) on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.
• Deadline: All main contest entries must be submitted or posted by October 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST.

$40 Thursdays’ Contest

• October 2026, starting October 8th, 2026, a designated promotional post will be published on Sequoia’s official Instagram and Facebook channels (@ElevateToSequoia).
• To enter a weekly drawing, participants must:
• Follow @ElevateToSequoia on the platform used to enter.
• Like the designated $40 Thursday post.
• Comment on the post in response to the featured weekly prompt.
• Weekly Cutoffs: Entries for each $40 Thursday drawing close every Wednesday at 11:59 PM following the prompt post.
• The winner will be posted every Thursday on Instagram and Facebook stories. 

Eligibility Requirements 

• Employees of Sequoia Equities, Inc., subsidiaries, affiliates, clients, partners, and suppliers, and members of the families or households of any of the above are NOT eligible to participate or win in this Contest.
• To receive the Prize, the winner must be a current resident of a Sequoia community at the time of payout.
• This Contest prohibits Contestants from winning multiple prizes.

Prizes 

Celebrating 40 Years Resident Contest: 

• Each prize consists of an e-gift card for the winners. 4 winners will be selected.
• $250 grand prize
• $100 2nd place x2
• $50 3rd place 

$40 Thursdays’ Contest 

• Each prize consists of an e-gift card for the winners. 4 winners will be selected.
• Each winner will receive a $40 e-gift card 

Winner Selection 

Celebrating 40 Years Resident Contest:

Each qualified participant that submits a photo or video by the deadline of October 31st, 2026 at 11:59 pm PST, will be entered to win.

• All prize winners will be notified by a direct message
• All decisions made by Sequoia Equities, Inc., regarding any aspect of this Contest are final.
• Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

$40 Thursdays’ Contest:

Each qualified participant that participates in liking the designated contest anniversary post and responding to the giveaway prompt in the comments, will be entered to win. 

• All prize winners will be notified by a direct message and posted on Instagram and Facebook stories. 
• All decisions made by Sequoia Equities, Inc., regarding any aspect of this Contest are final.
• Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

• These Contests are void where prohibited and are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• By entering, all Contestants irrevocably and perpetually grant the right to use, adapt, reproduce, distribute, display, and publicly perform their name and likeness in whole or in part, throughout the universe, at the sole discretion of Sequoia Equities, Inc., in connection with any promotional or marketing activities of Sequoia Equities, Inc.
• By entering these Contests, each participant agrees to comply with the Official Contest Rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor which shall be final and binding in all aspects relating to the Contest.
• Sequoia Equities, Inc., reserves the right to disqualify any Contestant if all Contest rules are not followed; Contest void if prohibited by law.
• Sequoia Equities, Inc., reserves the right to make changes to the Contest Rules, which will become effective upon dissemination.
