Get Spooky With Sequoia - Halloween Contest Rules & Regulations

Sequoia is hosting a total of two contests for Halloween. “Pumpkin Carving Contest” will award (5) $100.00 gift card to each of the (5) winners. “Costume Contests” will be held for three prize categories: Pet Costumes, Children Costumes, Adult Costumes. There will be three winners in each of the three categories; Grand prize of (1) $100.00 gift card, 2nd place prize of (1)$75.00 gift card, 3rd prize of (1) $50.00 gift card. To enter the contest, participating residents must either post a photo or video on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok tagging @elevatetosequoia. Submissions must be received by October 31, 2024 at 11:59pm. Winners to be announced November 8, 2024.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Employees of Sequoia Equities, Inc., subsidiaries, affiliates, clients, partners, and suppliers, and members of the families or households of any of the above are NOT eligible to participate or win in this Contest.
  • To receive the Prize, the winner must be a current resident of a Sequoia community at the time of payout.
  • This Contest prohibits Contestants from winning multiple prizes.
  • One entry per household, per contest.

Prize

  • Each Prize consists of a Tango gift card emailed out to the awarded participant. (14) Prize winners will be selected.

Winner Selection

  • Each qualified participant that submits a photo by the deadline of October 31, 2024 at 11:59 pm PST, will be entered to win.
  • Social Media submissions must be an in-feed post. If the profile is private, a direct message will count as a submission.
  • Entries are limited to one household per contest category.
  • All prize winners will be notified by an email, or phone message conducted by the Community Manager or a Sequoia team member.
  • All decisions made by Sequoia Equities, Inc., regarding any aspect of this Contest are final.
  • Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

General Conditions

  • This Contest is void where prohibited and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • By entering, all Contestants irrevocably and perpetually grant the right to use, adapt, reproduce, distribute, display, and publicly perform their name and likeness in whole or in part, throughout the universe, at the sole discretion of Sequoia Equities, Inc., in connection with any promotional or marketing activities of Sequoia Equities, Inc.
  • By entering this Contest, each participant agrees to comply with the Official Contest Rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor which shall be final and binding in all aspects relating to the Contest.
  • Sequoia Equities, Inc., reserves the right to disqualify any Contestant if all Contest rules are not followed, Contest void if prohibited by law.
  • Sequoia Equities, Inc., reserves the right to make changes to the Contest Rules, which will become effective upon dissemination.
  • Sequoia Equities, Inc., their parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, will not assume any responsibility for (1) any changes in the execution of the contest, including cancellation of the contest for any reason whatsoever.; (2) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; or (3) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from any Contestant's participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize.
