J Turner Research Recognizes Four Sequoia Communities for Exceptional Online Reputation

WALNUT CREEK, CA – Venu at Galleria, EVIVA Midtown, Harrison Tower, and Eddyline at Bridgeport have been recognized among the Elite 1% properties in the nation with the best online reputation for 2021 by J Turner Research. Developed by J Turner Research, the ORA® Power Ranking is based on monthly online reputation research of over 128,000 properties’ lifetime reviews across multiple online reputation sites. In 2021, 1,564 properties earned the Elite 1% distinction in the eighth annual Elite 1% ORA™ Power Ranking, published by Multifamily Executive (MFE).

Rita Crawford, Vice President of Portfolio Management at Sequoia, says that “These four communities being named in the Elite 1% list is truly a culmination of 365 days (or more) of excellent customer service in action. The day-to-day encounters that the teams have with their residents, in a consistent and outstanding way, has led to not just a great online presence, but a wonderful place for these residents to call home. We are very proud of their efforts, and thankful for them continuing to #ElevateTheEveryday.”

This is the first time in a few years that Venu at Galleria in Roseville, CA has taken the top spot at Sequoia with an ORA® Score of 95. They come in ranked 15th in California and 2nd in the Greater Sacramento Region. “Our team is over the top excited to receive this Elite 1% recognition,” comments Sr. Community Manager, Kim Koch. “This is proof that the hard work our team puts in every single day exceeds our residents’ expectations and is widely recognized and appreciated. We strive to create a unique resident experience with top notch customer service. We go above and beyond daily, without hesitation thus creating a loyal customer. Our Venu community recognizes that and is happy to share their experience with others. We are very honored and extremely proud of this accomplishment.”

EVIVA Midtown, located in Sacramento, CA, has now made the Top 1% list for the 4th consecutive year! They closed out 2021 ranking 4th in the Greater Sacramento Region, and 16th in California. Leasing Consultant, Shelby Garcia, shares their successes saying, “We feel so thankful because of our residents. We pride ourselves on being honest, upfront, and accountable. Our maintenance team prioritizes service requests and are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure the resident is surprised by the quick service. We are very attentive and do not procrastinate, are quick to respond to any resident concerns, and are always working together as a team to provide solutions, not band-aids.”

In addition to the two communities in California, Sequoia had two communities in Oregon receive this recognition. 2021 marks the 5th consecutive year that Harrison Tower in Portland, OR has made the Elite 1% list, ranking 4th in the state of Oregon, but 1st in the city of Portland. Achieving an ORA® Score of 94, Eddyline at Bridgeport, located in Tigard, OR, made the Elite 1% for the first time, since being built in 2014, and ranked 10th in the state of Oregon.

Sequoia’s portfolio of eighty-one communities have an average ORA® Score of 71.9 compared to the national average of 62.62. “Online reputation is a big focal point for our communities. Our team members work hard to serve their customers and understand the importance of having their customers become brand ambassadors,” shares Justin Choi, Sequoia’s Director of Marketing.
