CONTEST DESCRIPTION:

The Sequoia Equities, Inc., Getting to Know You - Win One Month’s Free Rent Drawing ends midnight on May 10, 2022. One Contest Winner will be awarded a check equal to the lesser of one month’s rent or $5,000.00, delivered directly to them at the rental community.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  1. All residents of properties managed by Sequoia Equities, Inc., who are (i) renters; (ii) pay regular monthly rent to the local, on-site property manager or through automatic payment deduction online; (iii) under a current and valid lease agreement as of May 10, 2022; (iv) and who complete in its entirety the “Getting to Know You” online resident survey emailed to their email address, are automatically entered into the Contest.
  2. All entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
  3. Employees of Sequoia Equities, Inc., its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, clients, partners, and suppliers, and members of the families or households of any of the above are NOT eligible to participate in this Contest.
  4. To receive the Prize, the winner must be a current resident with all payments up-to-date as of the date that the Prize is awarded.

PRIZE:

  1. The Prize consists of a single check payable by Sequoia Equities, Inc., and delivered to the winner in an amount equal to one month’s base rent; and no other charges or expenses of any kind.
  2. The Prize amount shall not exceed $5,000.
  3. If the winner refuses acceptance of the Prize for any reason or does not comply with the rules of this Contest, then the winner will become forever ineligible to receive the Prize and an alternate Winner will be selected.

WINNER SELECTION:

  1. A winner will be selected at random by Sequoia Equities, Inc. from among all official entrants.
  2. The Prize winner will be notified by email or phone following selection.
  3. All decisions made by Sequoia Equities, Inc., regarding any aspect of this Contest are final.
  4. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

  1. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes and fees associated with the receipt of the Prize (Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged).
  2. The winner must provide valid identification (i.e., via driver’s license, passport, or other photo I.D.) and tax ID information to be eligible for the Prize, as the winner will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year for tax purposes and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS as required by law.
  3. This Contest is void where prohibited and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  4. The winner acknowledges that the Prize will be paid to the Winner directly, not the winner’s Landlord.
  5. By entering, all Contestants irrevocably and perpetually grant the right to use, adapt, reproduce, distribute, display, and publicly perform their name, likeness and biographical data, in whole or in part, throughout the universe, at the sole discretion of Sequoia Equities, Inc., in connection with any promotional or marketing activities of Sequoia Equities, Inc.
  6. By entering this Contest, each participant agrees to comply with the Official Contest Rules and the decisions of the Sequoia Equities, Inc., which shall be final and binding in all aspects relating to the Contest. Sequoia Equities, Inc., reserves the right to disqualify any Contestant if all Contest rules are not followed.
  7. Sequoia Equities, Inc., reserves the right to make changes to the Contest rules, which will become effective upon dissemination.
  8. Sequoia Equities, Inc., its parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, will not assume any responsibility for (1) any changes in the execution of the contest, including cancellation of the contest for any reason whatsoever.; (2) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; or (3) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from any Contestant's participation in the Contest.
